FRÝDEK CASTLE

Frýdek Castle was originally a Silesian outpost built on the site of an older stronghold in the middle of the 14th century at the behest of the aristocratic Piastovec clan of Těšín. At present it houses the Museum of the Beskydy and Frýdek-Místek, where many expositions, exhibitions and cultural events are held.
